The Papers of Arabella Kurdi

The papers were given to the Institute of Education Archives by Arabella Kurdi in 1999. The collection consists of correspondence, including letters from Arabella to her parents describing her experiences in Germany, material relating to the School meals service, including a copy of the BFES Guide to school meals, which she co-authored, and printed material, including a map of BFES schools and copies of the BFES Gazette. The collection also includes many photographs taken by Arabella whilst living in and travelling around Germany between 1947 and 1951.
